AILA SA Awards 2026

Four AILA SA Awards for two very special projects!

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the recognition of Yitpi Yartapuultiku, The Soul of Port Adelaide, and Erindale Residence at this year’s Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) SA Awards.

Yitpi Yartapuultiku received an outstanding three Awards of Excellence across:

🏆 Cultural Heritage
🏆 Parks & Open Space
🏆 Land Management

Taking out three Awards of Excellence – the highest number in the program – is a fantastic achievement for the project team and a wonderful acknowledgement of the project’s impact and significance.

These awards recognise what can be achieved through meaningful co-design, collaboration and a shared commitment to Country, culture and community.

Erindale Residence was also recognised with an AILA SA Landscape Architecture Award in the Gardens category.

Inspired by the clients’ love of gardens, the landscape extends the home into a series of contemporary garden rooms, connecting with the broader landscape and Second Creek beyond. A productive garden, green roof, retained Eucalypt and heritage stone walls bring together beauty, biodiversity and everyday living.
