Streaky Bay Township Master Plans

The Streaky Bay Township Master Plans involved two years of planning with engagement, forecasting, and climate adaptation guiding the process. Developed by WAX Design, Hatch, and Tonkin, these plans prioritise social, environmental and economic needs while anticipating growth and climate challenges.

Techniques like population forecasting, land capacity assessment and GIS modelling informed targeted planning. Continuous consultation ensured diverse perspectives were embedded in the plans, and online presentations ensured the broadest engagement.

The plans have resulted in reserve upgrades, grant-funded shared-use paths, and proactive discussions with state agencies. The masterplans have created an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable road map for the district.
