Exploring the Eucalypt Arboretum
Last weekend, our team had the pleasure of spending an afternoon exploring the Currency Creek Arboretum.
Boasting the world’s largest collection of eucalypt species, it was amazing to wander through and learn about some of the 900+ species and over 10,000 individual trees planted over 32 hectares.
Established and managed by Eucalypt expert and arboretum curator Dean Nicolle, the main purpose of the site is to research Australia’s most dominant natural group of plants, the eucalypts.
We highly recommend a visit at their next open day! You can keep an eye out for future dates and learn more about Dean and his work at https://www.dn.com.au/
