Soldiers Memorial Garden

The redevelopment of the Soldiers Memorial Garden has rejuvenated the precinct and provided an enduring landscape and a contemporary public realm that reflects the cultural, character and aspirational values of the town.

Collaborating with Council and the RSL, key objectives of the project were realised including retention and protection of the historic Norfolk Island Pines and the existing monuments, along with an improved amenity for memorial events. Bespoke walling, signage and seating revitalise the garden and improved access through paving upgrades provides all abilities use of the park and a revitalised vibrant public realm.
