Syd Jones Reserve

The adjacent historic Table Tennis Academy and the game of ping pong, strongly influenced the landscape design process and play intent for the Syd Jones Reserve upgrade.

Local residents, visitors and families can visit this playful open space in Firle which features a multi sport court and pop-colour bouldering climbing wall with a super-graphic ‘Syd’ ball wall, reinforcing the Syd Jones branding.

The dynamic playspace includes in-ground trampolines, a basket swing, monkey bars, spinning carousel, mounds and sunken pods to enjoy. A bespoke climbing dome was developed in conjunction with Kaebel Leisure.

Next to the Table Tennis Academy, an outdoor table tennis table has been incorporated to support competitive play, as well as increased amenity with shelter, seating, barbeque and toilet facilities.
